It’s a simple formula.
Gradual increase in activity
But simple is not always easy. You may be asking…
How do you actually manage to 1) eat less refined crap and also 2) eat more protein? 3) How gradual of increase do I need? 4) What kind of activity?
1. Get the picture in your head that packaged foods are poison (It’s usually the truth).
2. Track what you normally eat and figure out how perfect (-ly out of whack you truly are) rather than just saying, “I eat pretty good”. Most people are surprised at their actual totals. A good balance is 40 % calories from complex carbs, 40% from protein, 20% from healthy fats.
3. Only choose 1 or 2 small changes at a time. You have made choices based on habit for a life-time. Spend time FOCUSED on your change at hand and it will be a breeze.
4. Do fun activities of course. Fun and challenging, engaging, effective and fun. Try something you’ve always wanted to do. Get strong. Travel far.
